Laser Toner

The Printer Toner Warehouse is our recommended supplier for ink and toner.  They supply discount ink cartridges, ink refill kits and bulk ink for all inkjet printers, and even carry a complete line of laser toner cartridges, toner refill kits and bulk toner powder for almost every laser toner printer made, including color laser printers.  They feature same-day shipping, outstanding customer service and support, and an industry leading one year guarantee on all the ink and toner products they sell.

Ink jet printers 'spray' ink through a print-head which onto the printing media.  The print head blends black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink to create all colors of the rainbow.  There are two types of ink jet printers each with different types of ink jet cartridges.

  1. One type of printer (Brother, Canon, Epson and others) has the printhead build right into the printer.  The cartridges for these printers is nothing more than a holding-tank full of ink with an exit-port which fits snugly on top of the printhead and supplies the printer with ink.  The Printer Ink Warehouse sells compatible (knockoff) cartridges to replace these cartridges at significant discounts over what you're currently paying for cartridges.
  2. The other type of printer (HP, Lexmark, Xerox and others) has the printhead built right in the cartridge.  The printhead is, in effect, disposable.  The printer communicates with the print-head via a copper strip which is really a printed circuit also built into the cartridge.  The circuitry for these cartridges is patent protected so compatible cartridges are not available for them.  The Printer Ink Warehouse sells remanufactured cartridges (cartridges which have been used once, cleaned, rebuilt, filled with ink and tested)  to replace these cartridges, again at a significant discount over what you currently pay for cartridges.

When your ink jet printer stops printing it's not because your cartridge has worn out - it's because you're out of Ink!  Your cartridge is designed to last much longer than it's stated yield.  The trick to extending it's life is to know how to add Ink, and to only use Ink which matches the ink which originally came with your cartridge.  Each cartridge is manufactured to work with a specific type of Ink, and will not work correctly with anything different.  The Printer Ink Warehouse sells refill kits which are specifically designed for each different cartridge.  As a result, their ink refill kits work much more effectively than the others.  The Printer Ink Warehouse also sells bulk ink so you can refill your cartridges over and over without having to re-purchase the refill tools each time.

Laser Toner Printers use Laser Toner Cartridges.  These cartridges are filled with laser toner powder which is transferred to the print media via an electrically charged drum, and the paper is subsequently heated to fuse the toner powder to the paper.  That's why paper is warm when it exits a laser toner printer or copier.  The Printer Ink Warehouse sells compatible laser toner cartridges to replace these cartridges at significant discounts over what you're currently paying for toner cartridges.

There's a little known fact about laser toner cartridges that the manufacturers don't want you to know: You can refill the toner in most cartridges 2-3 times without affecting print quality.

When your printer stops printing it's not because your cartridge has worn out - it's because you're out of toner powder!  Your cartridge has internal moving parts which will wear out over time, but cartridges are built solid enough to last much longer than their stated yield.  The trick to extending their life is to know where to add toner, and to only use toner which is an exact match to the toner which originally came with your cartridge.  Each cartridge is manufactured to work with a specific weight, grain size, and chemical type of toner, and will not work correctly with anything different.  The Printer Ink Warehouse carries toner refill kits and bulk toner for almost every make and model of toner printer and copier, and we guarantee that our toner will match the toner that you're currently using.
